In addition, BTEC qualifications and domestic Bahraini Secondary school Diploma courses are offered. Students participate in various Art, Music and Commerce events throughout the academic year as well as taking part in Community Service activities, the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and international trips which contribute towards their tertiary education applications. There is a strong emphasis on preparedness for university entry with a dedicated University Counsellor assisting students with their applications and a number of University Fairs held at the school each year.
