General Information
  • What are the MNS timings?
    Nursery & Reception: 7:30am to 12:30pm
    Years 1 & 2: 7:30am to 2:30pm
  • Do you offer After School Hours?
MNS offers a free After Care service available until 3:00 PM during the school week. This service keeps students engaged with various activities, both indoors and outdoors, and includes a snack. It's designed to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children after their school day.
  • What is the Uniform Policy?
MNS has a designated uniform that all parents are required to purchase from House of Uniforms. Students in Nursery and Reception wear the MNS P.E. kit only, while students in Years 1 and 2 are required to wear both the P.E. kit and the formal uniform. Upon enrolment, parents will receive detailed information about the uniform items.
  • What are the snack and lunch timings?
MNS has two school timings: for Nursery and Reception, the first session starts at 9:00 AM, and the second at 12:00 PM. For Primary School students, the first break is at 9:40 AM, followed by the second break at 12:00 PM.
  • Do you have the ratio/teacher assistants to the number of children in class?
According to the Ministry of Education (MOE), there is no specified ratio. However, at MNS, we ensure that students are always safe and well-supervised by maintaining a presence of two adults in the classroom: the teacher and the teaching assistant (TA).
  • What is the “Potty” Policy?
Students are expected to be potty trained upon entering our school. We have small toilets available to accommodate their needs, and teaching assistants are on hand to guide and support younger children as they continue to develop their self-care skills. While we encourage independence, we kindly ask parents to provide an extra set of clothes in case of accidents. If necessary, our staff will assist with changing students.
  • Is there a requirement for stationery or books or is this supplied by the school?
Upon enrolment, parents will receive a list of stationery requirements to purchase. An additional fee is charged for books and school applications at the start of each year. Please note that books are only required for students in Year 1 and above.
  • Is there a daily app that provides parents with images, updates and notifications?
MNS uses Class Dojo to share images, updates, and notifications with parents. Updates may be sent individually or for the whole class. Additionally, parents receive important information, such as school memos, weekly newsletters, and whole-school emails through the MNS school applications.
