Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a British Curriculum school
  • Strong understanding of the British Curriculum and assessment practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire staff, students, and parents
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

IGCSE Humanities Teacher

Full-time Secondary Bahrain Now Hiring

We are looking for a passionate and experienced IGCSE Humanities Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons within our Cambridge/British Curriculum framework. The ideal candidate brings strong subject knowledge, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

Knowledge
  • Evidence of up to date knowledge of the Cambridge/British Curriculum
  • Understanding of the significance of our school ethos
  • Understanding of the requirements of good classroom management
Skills & Abilities
  • Commitment to curriculum continuity between the phases
  • Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning
  • Meticulous record keeping of assessment and intervention strategies
  • Able to provide a practical commitment to an equal opportunities policy of inclusivity
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team
Experience
  • At least two years' teaching IGCSE
  • Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements
  • Evidence of good personal relationships / team player
  • Evidence of experience working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour
Educational
  • Qualified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Education
  • Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country in which you obtained the degree
  • Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development (CPD) activities
Special Requirements

  • A Criminal Record Disclosure will be required prior to appointment
