"The books transported her into new worlds and introduced her to amazing people who lived exciting lives." Matilda by Roald Dahl. As the book fair draws to an end in a few days, don't miss the opportunity to be transported away; visit new places and meet interesting people; all on the pages of a book.
MNS students and staff Wishing all our incredible mothers a very happy Mother's Day. We appreciate all you do for us.
MNS students and staff embraced our diversity and similarities by celebrating Multinational Day. We recognised what makes us different: our cultures and traditions; as well as our similarities: our feelings and the way we experience love and compassion.
Congratulations to Gabriella Gbenro in Year 10S for her thought-provoking and inspiring video on being kind. This half-term MNS students focussed on anti-bullying, and the ways to reverse bullying/cyber-bullying. Students were asked to create a video showing ways we can be more kind, caring, tolerant, patient and empathetic with one another.
Bahrain Day countdown has started. Our students are researching Bahrain and presenting their findings in project form. One of our Year 2 students presented this magnificent 3D rendition of the Bahrain map. What a masterpiece!
As part of our healthy living week, we were reminded of the importance of taking regular water breaks, to keep our bodies and brains well hydrated.
Our Reception students found creative ways of taking advantage of the beautiful weather; exploring shadow art and staying safely, socially distanced.
Today at MNS we all dressed in pink to show our support for those who are fighting cancer. Your courage and strength are admirable, and we stand with you!
Our students learned the importance of proper handwashing to protect themselves.
Today we welcomed back our Year 7 and Year 10 students. The last time we saw them was on the 20th February 2020! It's beginning to feel like "home" again.
“What parents say about MNS”
We want to thank all the staff at MNS for the virtual learning that is taking place. We would like to highlight specifically, our Year 7 teachers, as we can see the effort being made and how much our children are enjoying their learning and using technology in a very useful way. Thank you MNS Team!
My son, Ali, is doing very well with his homework. He does miss his Homeroom Teacher a lot though, but he's very happy with the daily videos that are being sent home. It was such a good idea to send these videos, as he is now able to respond to his teacher all the time.
Thank you to Ali's Arabic Teacher for the nice lessons she has been sending across. They really help Ali enjoy learning Arabic. Their efforts are highly appreciated!
Thank you so much to Umar's homeroom teacher for sending extra worksheets. Her lessons are well planned! We wish that school will reopen soon and that Umar will be able to join his teacher in class again.
Thank you for all the activities and valuable videos that the teachers have been sharing with our kids. They are really quite nice and my son Christian is enjoying them!
