At Multinational School Bahrain Junior School, we believe that school should be innovative, engaging and enjoyable for all students. Our Junior School programme is founded on the ethos of providing inclusive quality education for all students designed to enhance each child’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. The teaching and learning programmes and facilities are designed to meet these goals to ensure we always have happy students who excel in all areas of their development.

Our curriculum is founded on the Cambridge Curriculum incorporating Arabic and Islamic Studies as laid out by the Ministry of Education in Bahrain. The curriculum incorporates a balance between English, Arabic and Islamic Studies, whilst supporting students who have different cultural backgrounds. We explore learning through many areas such as Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Music, Physical Education, French, Art and ICT, as we believe children learn and understand their world in different ways. We provide specialist learning programmes for children whose first language may not be English as well as programmes to extend and support individual learning needs.

We encourage our parents to take an active role in their children’s learning by attending a range of celebrations and participating in classroom learning throughout the school year. We believe there needs to be a strong connection between the home and school to ensure students achieve their full learning potential and are equipped with the knowledge and skills to become lifelong learners.
